Hi I am Max, 18 year old lad in my early college. I am a happy guy who thoroughly enjoys every bit of life. I have huge friend’s circle and so never feel lonely. Everything was going fine till I developed some sort of allergy and nasal issues after one of our trips to a tropical forest. It was a college visit and we were amused during every step of the trip. After I returned from the trip, I had stuffy nose. It developed into itching resulting in sneezing. I consulted our Doctor and I was administered on common medicines for nasal infections. When the sneezing could not be controlled through the normal medicines, it was diagnosed that it was more than a normal nasal infection. The Doctor administered me on Generic Flonase. While prescribing Fluticasone to me my Doctor advised me certain things which I would like to share with you.
- Generic Flonase basically treats nasal symptoms are allergic and non allergic in nature
- The general name in which it is available in the drug stores is Fluticasone propionate nasal spray which is an FDA approved medicine to be administered on anyone who is above 4 years of age
- Fluticasone decreases the common nasal symptoms like runniness, sneezing, stuffiness and itching that are caused by nasal allergies within 12 hours of usage in most of the patients
My Doctor alerted me that I may feel some side effects on using Generic Flonase like nose bleed, headache and sore throat. He said these side effects are not compulsory and may not occur in patients whose health condition is compatible with Fluticasone.
Generic Flonase, as per FDA’s comments during the product release is reasonable priced and effective for usage of nasal symptoms. It is a prescription drug and so ensure you consult your physician to ascertain if you really have a nasal allergy or a normal cold. Your Doctor will be able to prescribe the right medicine for you only after ascertaining that you have a nasal allergy.
My Doctor informed me more about Fluticasone. He advised me to use Generic Flonase as nasal drops externally and warned me not to take the same internally. He said Fluticasone nasal drops can be applied in nostrils two to three times a day depending on the intensity of the nasal allergy.
He said I must use Generic Flonase Nasal Drops only as prescribed by him and not to increase the dosage to suit my convenience. He also said that usage of Fluticasone must strictly be based on the severity of the nasal injection rather than one’s own preference or comfort levels. He also checked with me for any type of allergies I have to medicines or other substances before recommending Fluticasone to me. He said he checked with me since the drug’s interactions with any other medicines the person is on may increase or decrease Generic Flonase effectiveness on people who use it.
